Time flies out my window
Into the frosted morning
Won't it freeze again, like it used to
when you had your arms around me?
When life seemed to cease and dreams seemed to prevail
When love seemed to grow and hopes seemed to glow
But as time flies out my window
You walk out my door
Shutting it behind you, silently.
But it echoes, bouncing off each of the walls
And slamming against my heart
You've left as time flew out my window.
