Rain

by DirtRoadGirl   Jul 16, 2011

She lifts her face to the sky,
as she dances in the rain.
The tears are falling from her eyes,
brought on by all her pain.

She spins and twirls,
jumps and skips.
Dampness is tugging at her curls,
as silent crys pass her perfect lips.

She looks way up into the cloudy grey,
And screams with all her might;
"You win, I'll let you have your way!
I give up this pointless fight."

And she lifts her face to the sky,
as she stands there in the rain.
The tears are falling from her eyes,
as she gives into all her pain.

    I Cant Even Describe How Much I Love This.
    It's So Relatable.
    It Really Meens Something, & Most Poetry Lacks That Effort Nowadays;

    You Have Great Talent, So Keep Writing Darlin' And Always Keep Your Head Held High.
