Surreal Perception

by jen sheridan   Jul 28, 2011

A kaleidoscope of emotions rising within, seeking recognition all at once, behold the cryptic fantasy before you that is created,
Each step falls lightly upon a cushion of air, every action seems dramatically slow in motion, yet strangely unabated,
Each precise movement made, leaving a shadowed trail in its wake, the distortion an obvious factor in its relevant motion,
The body reacts accordingly to its environment, to a mind preoccupied; each visual instance emits its own sacred emotion,
Intricacy of thought, yet powerless to alter events, observing the dream unfolding endlessly before its audience,
A witness to the fairytale engulfed in disbelief, desperately searching for some sense of control, a safe familiar guidance,
The common place reaches new elevated heights, drifting past it’s bewildered beholder, presenting new meaning and complete effect,
Eyes enraptured unable to free themselves, holding fast to the witnessed delusion, the dream which by rights the conscience should reject,
The imaginary observance of eyes deceived, unable to ascertain reality from fiction, the mind offers no resistance,

Perception is the reality we create in our minds and attempt to justify with political correctness to the people surrounding us... Always remember opinions are just a matter of perception, nothing more.
