Snow White and the Adventures in Wonderlands

by Nobody   Aug 16, 2011

She was the queen...
sheltered in a castle made of molded candy

She was always sleeping...
protected in a blanket of vulnerability

Until one day She woke up...
untrained eyes opened into a new world

She was lost...
the halls lungs drained of breath

The king blew Her a kiss...
the castle came crumbling down, down, down.

Then She was alone...again.
Stranded in place so alienated from dreams

She searched high and low...
the faces unfamiliar, and the air too thick

Troubled Her legs began to crumble
Ease into a simple rest of the mind, body, soul.

Until She ran far, far away...
Sleeping's for the dead not the living.
