No More Than Love

by Marwa Ghouar   Aug 22, 2011

Wonder no more i can feel again,
Under a world made and craved with my pen,
Narrowly escaped from all the ones i used to be,
Take my love's candle to lit the way that leads you to me.

Though i never thought I'd be standing here,
Where all that I've found have been lost and disappeared.
Never wanted the earth around me to get too frozen,
And all i fixed fell apart all broken.

I won't ask you to stay,
If you wanna leave and walk away.
I'll be secretly watching you slowly going,
While my love for you is still swiftly growing.
Then I'll be certain that wherever i go there will be always cold darkness,
And whenever i rise above i fall so lowly into the depth of loneliness.

Love is all that we are inside,
Love is all that we show and all that we hide,
Love is a separated corner from heaven,
Love is all that's given and all that's taken.

Wonder no more i can finally breathe,
Inside a world that i made to let believe.
Released from all the chains i used to chain,
Take my love's magic and pull down this separating mountain.

Though i never imagined that I'd be a mess,
Hopelessly shattered and stuck in the dreamless.
Never wanted the roses you gave me to wither and dry,
I longed to smell your breath in all day long until i die.

I won't ask you to be by my side to love me,
If you just break and darken everything around me.
I'll be slowly dying as every little piece of you is swiftly fading away,
I'll be long gone but my love for you will forever stay.
Then I'll be certain that all i ever wanted is simply gone,
And everywhere is nowhere and I'm completely alone.

Love is the song of a silent heart,
Love is so close and all apart,
Love is just a sweet imagination and a bitter truth,
Love is a lingering pain,a blazing longing without you.

I always felt unwanted and all alone;
Because i hate the one I've become just like you do,
Because I'm alone with everyone but you.
