Before We Got Real

by Marwa Ghouar   Aug 23, 2011

There were once dreams for free,
Wherever you go your eyes see what you long to see.
Hope used to own angelic wings,
If you fall you get risen like a flower on the sea.

Now that dreams are so hard to find,
Wherever you are you bear inside your head a dirty mind.
Now hope is creepy and about to be ceased,
If you fall stand by yourself or in despair you'll be twisted.

Life used to seem so soft and that lovely,
Would you believe that no one loved it so forcedly?
Now that everything constantly's the same and the earth is in one season,
And this world looks like a huge and wild separated prison.

Among this dust there's no past,
Only lusts with no trust,
Afraid again to open the eyes,
Lost again in that imaginary paradise
Still you covered with your own sweet mean lies?

Wake me up when everyone is gone,
It's okay now or then i'll feel all alone.
There's no use to want what will be wanted,
Part of me is stolen.
There's no use to fix what will never be mended,
Part of me is broken.
