Everlasting Presence, Everlasting Love

by Marwa Ghouar   Aug 23, 2011

I've been waiting for you since you had gone,
Knowing this absence lasts forever makes me feel all alone.
The loss is living for me, the strength is weakening me.
How can nightmares remain inside the brain?
Should reality always and forever stay the same?
Wasting too much time forgetting what i remember too well,
Is there any other way to say unspoken things i need to tell?

I heard you breathing, i saw you coming.
I wasn't dreaming, you left me crying.
Leaving, Grieving, Lying, Dying,
Like i never knew you're long gone,
Still waiting for you to be home.

"Wake up, bad dreams, just bad dreams.
Cover up all those fears, all of your fears,
Can't you see? you're sleeping again carelessly?
Open your eyes, childish feelings shouldn't grow,
Throw all the lies, I'm still home."

I've been looking for you since you lost the way back.
Knowing no light lits between us paints my world in black.
This lack is living in me, missing is breaking me i surrender,
Shadows putter in front of me, it's still calling my name i still remember.
Let me give you this breaking silence to scream at you,
May it wake you up for me.
Give me your chilliness, i want to heal you,
To hold me again, warm me.

So close and far away,
I feel nothing for today.
I heard your heart beating with mine.
I feel so cold since our last hold.

"Wake up, old memories, Oh memories.
Hurry up, wipe away these cold tears,
Can't you see, I'm here, I'll never leave.
Look inside I'm the only truth,
Lock up your heart and hold me in,
I'm alive in you."
