This night has just started

Yet again another sleepless night
staying up and thinking of you
it hurts me so much if only you knew
it really does kill my very soul
because with out you dear my life isn't whole...

This is just another typical night for me you see
For I know you haven't had the slightest thoughts of me

I did everything in my power
to make sure you would be alright
so now can you please tell me why
your arms are not around me tonight...

I would love nothing more then to
go back to how we used to be
but you had other plans
and that was just unfortunate for me

I have seen this night before
it haunts my memories, my very core
because tonight is no different then the last
I'm still sitting here watching my life pass.
