Dead fairytales

I have dreamed long,
all fantasies I know I can't have
they don't exist but only in my head.

Childhood fairy tales,
they make me sad
because I can't live in fairy tales.

I call to you,
I reach for you,
I'm falling.

You've killed every guard I had
now I cry too much
but maybe it's time
the time to let go.

It's hard
but...
I'll make due
I'll find someone new
and my dreams will come true.

Fantasies...
they don't exist
only in my head
never to be lived
Romance...
is dead.

    Love this stanza. && Its true, letting go is the hardest thing to do, but we both will find somebody new & someone who WON'T hurt us!
