Unreckoned Encounter [Collab]

Waft of mist envelops me,
and heavy clouds
make me tremble as I
paint words into the night
and the moon guards my
cautious queries.

From her throne Nyx watches
as I shiver
in the dense cold of question,
breathing incertitude
as stars vamp the
incredulous wind.

Wearily dazed by the light
of mercy and sympathy,
I accept her offering of
serenity wrapped in
the soft mantle of
understanding.

Clarity pierces my heart,
removing the blinders of
confounding as I fall into
the depth of her eyes, basking
in the summer of her smile,
sheltered by angel wings.

My first collab actually and then with an as good poet as SpiritRising :P

    Wow you both did a beautiful job, I was actually thinking about writing about Nyx to go with my goddess directions I've taken off in. I can barely tell that this was a collab because you both wrote together beautifully and the flow was amazing.

    Wow, you guys have done an great job. It is amazing. A well written collaboration is written seamlessly and that is exactly how this is. You guys can both write so well on your own, but together it really is something. Great job, to both of you.
