Lonely tears...

I sit and write this letter to you
About the life that should have been
You were always there for me
I loved you dearly, my best friend

You helped me understand love
The opposite meaning of it
Leaving my heart abandoned
In a deep, heartless pit

I don't like you, get away
Please don't get mad just yet
I have a few more words to say
You are someone I wish to forget

I wish I could tell you it was great
No longer holding on, I'm letting go
There are no words to describe
The lonely tears on my pillow

    Aww.. this poem made me feel saadd! But you've expressed your emotions deeply.. It started out sweet and then changed completely, as the anger started to show but the last stanza was sad... I loved the last two lines "There are no words to describe
    The lonely tears on my pillow"

    It reminded of the old song "tears on my pillow" because of your last line! Well done my friend!
