This too,shall pass.

I swear to god,
I have never hurt so
bad before,

not even when my
efforts went by
over looked,
not even when
I got hit by a car
back in two-thousand and four.

Never before,
have I felt a knife so
deeply in my lungs..
making breathing such
a grueling task...

Nor felt my soul
crumble like a biscuit
on the floor..

No,never.

never,
have I wished for
death so badly
as if I was nothing
but drops of water
anxiously waiting for
the sun to dry me up...

my eyes are familiar with tears,
yes...
but never has the pacific
ocean escape through them...

I have known pain,
yes...

but never,ever..
this way.

never have I felt my
heart ache from every beat..
nor have my veins burn
when blood gushes through them.

and sure,
I must find comfort.
know that this too,
shall pass.

but even when its over,
I will be marked,
bruised,weak..

never again,
will I be all I once was.

    Yaki, this is beyond sad, beyond magnificent, the way you've described this made me wonder exactly what you've been though, it took my minds to places, it's easy to say that in this piece you are easily compared to an artist painting a picture, and although the picture here was a sad one, it was filled with emotions, straight from your heart, a 5/5
    and a nomination tommrow. God bless you
    on a side note i hope that everything is ok =-)
    because this was powerful beyond measure.

    I BEG YOU TO STOP IT!

    WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE TO MY HEART???

    i have just stopped crying....i swear that i went to my room and cried and after i wiped my tears and decided to be happy again.....i opened pnq to see submitted a new poem that ....made me cry all over again...i dont blame you...no...i blame god for creating such a miracle.

    this was sad
    VERY damn sad...what else should i aim for??
