The Weakened Spirit

I try to forget you
but you're still there
and in my heart I cry.

Where do I even begin
because I thought I said goodbye
but somehow I find myself
thinking of you.

You still taunt me
and every icicle I have in my body
You make colder.

I become a careless soul
for the things you've done
for the pain and hurt I've felt.

I think of being evil
wanting to torture every guy in my path
but the darkness is not that strong

I am too tender to be mean
I am an innocent fairy
a harmless bug
I am too nice to everyone
so I cannot defend myself
but I am strong
I can overcome
just like I overcame you.

    This poem rocked in a few ways, the pain and hurt in the beginning, the mistrust and betrayal. Yet you ended it with determination of overcoming. BRAVO

    Emotion pours through, the pain hes caused & even though he put you through hell you still overcame it & dont treat others differently bcuz of him
