Beautiful Ending

My class ring
it's special
beautiful
it's my reminder
of how much my parents love me
but sometimes I wish I had
another beautiful ring
on that important finger
I realize I crave it
wanting the fairy tale
in love with love
I do realize of course
that it's only a dream
and I wake up
to reality
doing the best for me
because my happiness is key
The number one thing
for me is me
I will reach my goals
go further than I can see
making dreams real
fulfilling my need to help others
one day my destiny will be complete
I'll have all I need
and then death can take me
and I will wait at heaven's gate
to welcome my loved ones
knowing that my life was great
