Can you feel it?

by DirtRoadGirl   Oct 3, 2011

Can you feel the madness?
How about the cold?
Embrace the numbness,
go ahead and take hold.

Can you feel the pain?
Hurts don't it?
Care to try and get passed the rain?
I dare you to try and forget.

Feel the fear?
Good, now you might understand me.
Feel the need to disappear?
Maybe now you will finally see.

Have the nerve to miss me?
Give it a few months,
It doesn't get better,
And that I can promise.

Because I feel the madness,
and the cold.
I welcome the numbness,
and I've taken my hold.

I'm addicted to the pain,
which hurts the more I think about it.
I'm stuck in the rain,
and no matter what I can't forget.

I feel fear,
but you'll never understand me.
I want to disappear,
because you refuse to see.

I still have the nerve to miss you,
and even after a few months,
It's still not better,
And that is a promise.

    Everybody can relate to this.

feeling the pain of being lost & hurt with heartbreak. Emotion flowed so much out of this, it was pouring out. It flowed perfectly.
    Amazing Poem(:
