Hidden

by my blue eyes cry   Oct 6, 2011

Who is that girl that stands up so tall,
reaches so high and appears not to fall.
Holds a smile that hides her tears,
and depresses the emotion of all her fears.

How does she pretend to be so strong,
when her life seems to be going all so wrong.
On the inside she's crumbling; falling apart,
but on the outside she appears to be so smart.

What must she do to follow her dream,
She bends and she breaks but its never scene.
She feels so lost at what to do,
One day she hopes it does come true.

Till the day when she feels complete,
she will stand up tall on her own two feet,
Showing the smile that hides the pain,
Shadowing the scar that conseals the stain.

I love the concept of "stand up tall on her own two feet", "smile that hides tears".
Wonderful thoughts, which shows character and resilience. I am here to support people who have a will to "stand tall" though they may have taken a "hard fall". 5*****
