Acceptance

Long, luscious, silky brown hair
Steel blue, hawk shaped eyes
Sun baked skin
And soft pink, glossy lips

Classic 68' silver blue mustang
And all the clocks in the world
Still weren't enough to turn back the time

Designer clothes and accessories
Just didn't cut it anymore
She couldn't explain why
But she had a craving for something more
She saw them everywhere she went
School, the park and even the mall

And every time she saw them
She couldn't help but stare
They were different

They had porcelain skin and wiry frames
With their jeans hugging just below the waist
Captivating eyes and wicked smiles
Everywhere they went people stared
Judging eyes and dirty looks
But they didn't care

With their razor cut, jet black hair
They looked dangerous yet inviting
Tattoos and piercings everywhere

They had her mesmerized
She had never wanted anything so badly before
She was willing to give up everything
Just to have it all

But she and their kind don't get along
Desperately she just wanted to belong
