Comfort

by Ryan Wilson   Oct 7, 2011

Hopeless and lost, I turn my gaze to you
You smile at me, and I know it's ok
Whatever my shame, we have each other
And no matter what, there's always another day

Back of my mind, I can't help but feel
I'm not enough, you'd be better without
You open your mouth, and begin to speak
"chin up" you say, and I know I shouldn't doubt

I take your hand, and you take my other
I look in your eyes, it becomes an embrace
And it's alright, I'm comfortable with you
But still I wonder, will I always feel this way?
