Melpomene

Melpomene is indeed a silversmith! I read by her the most wonderful jewels ever. A sweet tribute to a sweeter person from the sweetest person. xD Good job.

It logged me out about 5 times whenever I would try and open this piece, my account hates the friendship and love section for some reason. First of all Nevi I want to say thank you for writing this, it is really sweet of you. I know we've only become friends recently but I treasure you as part of M&M!

What I enjoyed about this was the elements you included within the poem. I know I've told you I adore mythology but I also love history in general and so when you mention a craftsman's hammer and the word silversmith I am reminded of a time in history where I feel i'd be most comfortable. As you know I'm a really craft loving person and I adore times where this was highly valued and treasured.

I also liked that you used jewellery, I'm not sure if this was intentional but I know you browsed my pics on FB and probably saw I design jewellery so I thought it was clever of you to incorporate that in.. along with the word "artfully" as it reminds me of my art and of course "literary" because of my writing.

I just felt this poem captured my creative essence and I found it extremely well written. I've been enjoying your writing and from the conversation we had in regards to our poetry I honestly do think you have a great talent and you should continue to hone it.

Thank you once again for such a lovely poem it was clever in its metaphors.
