Tic Toc

Darkness awakens me -
tic toc

Unable to lay my head down to sleep

Fearless warrior amidst an invisible reflection -
hidden behind the dark shadows that swiftly move across my path

Beneath the solid exterior, weakened mind chasing down vivid dreams; portraying entities not of sound and mind

Oblivious to the surroundings of the sheltering prospects -
tic toc

Delays returning to sunshine
