Broken heart

I never thought my heart could get worse,
I thought it was true love, at first.
My heart's shattered into pieces,
... Everytime I think of you,
The pain increases.
It aches more,
Everytime I see your face.
When we were together,
We were off into space.
I miss the times when we'd sit by the fire,
I'd look into those eyes,
and know you were my only desire.
Now I think back,
to how stupid I was.
And because I'm starting to move,
My heart's giving me an applause
