mesmerizing and
breathtaking,

I place you..

captivating more beauty
than any flower ever
could,

on both sides,
you are quite a sight to see.

I yearn to shower you
with embraces,
and tell you about love
in its natural state..
you know?...
a love untouched,
lust-less..the one that
is too fragile to even be spoken
about.

we could be two maidens,
you with your mystery
and I with my charm..

we could become sisters,
and find everything in the
nothing life has made of us..

I would give you
the highest quality of loyalty
and seal it with a heartfelt
promise..

you are the perfect friend,
the one people only dream
of having..

so mark my words..

I will wait patiently
behind the
borders of this screen..

until the day,
I find you..

amidst the corners
of that country
that is so far
from mine..

because that's just
how much you mean to me..

    I love this bit, so very much. This is such a beautiful poem, inside and out. I don't know exactly who you are talking about, though I would assume it's Melpomene :) This is gorgeous!

    Yaki, I loved your opening! It really drew me in with it's simplicity but stirring with power.

    ^Ahh I loved this! So profound! I feel like I could have a conversation about philosophy stemming from these two lines. It was really inspirational and had me tossing poem ideas in my mind because I loved it so much! This made the poem for me.

    I liked your incorporating of the (...) because it added a sense of waiting for something, a lingering feeling, like someday soon something is going to happen and its what you have been waiting. Although there were a few places were it was a bit redundant, it added a nice touch.
