I Forgive You

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Nov 26, 2011

I had longed for your security
You were supposed to protect me
Especially that night in June
When I mutely cried out for you

During the time you were out with someone else
I desperately needed your help
While you were forgetting I was your love
I was attacked and taked advantage of

Yeah, so, your jock buddies thought I was hot
So they decided to pin me down in one spot
And take turns getting what they wanted
That dreaded night keeps my future haunted

When you found out, you did nothing
Thought it was a joke; a silly fun thing
But the truth from my bruises was unbearable
And my emotional damage had me hysterical

Even though you weren't there at the time
You've tried your best to make up for my bad life
And I may never forget that night in June
But I forgive you
