No strings attached

by Mattias Ostling   Dec 10, 2011

You are like a bird
flying around
without halt
without fault
with no strings
attached

From misery
to joy
From sickness
to health
Your mood
forever changing
Your distance
forever vague

To call you a woman
would be like calling
an Angel "nice"
and we all know
it would simply not
suffice

I really like this poem. Its simple, and with a good message. But above all, It might be my imagination or not, but I like the tone of this poem. 5/5
