The Hoummous Diplomacy

I have learnt (Inspired by Britt, Sibs, LP & Yaki):

Hoummous can save the day
for Britt knows the best recipe
how to mix the right ingredients
stir them, even cook them to finesse
and serve them to bitter tongues on fire
when hot chillies reign beautiful brains

Only if Y..i knew
what L...P already knows
the taste of hoummous
prepared by the Lebanese
is not all that hot or spicy
just a yummy treat,
only if she could try the sauce
I strongly believe will be her next best friend.

Only if George Bush had any clue
of what Britt already knew
There never would have been a 2nd Gulf war
Alas, Britt was too late to give Bush a taste of her hoummous
If only she had thought of it earlier
countless lives would not have been lost
in a pointless war that only hurt our pride,
that of a noble nation, saviour of the human kind
