My endless tears

by Leanne   Dec 21, 2011

It seems like forever since a smile has crossed my face, torment and misery seems to follow my every step. I never shed a tear in front of you because I know that it's weakness in your eyes. When I walk by the ocean, all I see is a lifetime of fallen tears and the owners are nowhere to be found. The tide comes in and washes the sand from my feet and joy form my heart for I live with a monster.

You claim to love me but you know not of love for you have never shown any. When I look into your eyes I see only the darkness from the blackest of pits and evil form the heart of the devil himself. The scares you have left me are a constant reminder, my own personal trip down a memory lane of torture and neglect. Don't you realise that every punch, every slap, is tearing me apart a little more inside every day?

Every night I lay awake hoping that somewhere deep inside you, even in its smallest measure you care for me and that is the only thing keeping me sane
