Darkness Falls

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Dec 23, 2011

Darkness falls everywhere
critters drink here and there
evil spreads into pure hearts
piercing through happiness like a dart

a cheerless cloud lets the rain fall
as heartless creatures begin to crawl
a hovering ever-lasting sadness in the air
that breezes through the dangerous beasts' hairs

eyes of bloodlust and smiles of death
soulless human not taking a rest
stalking carnivores; watching innocent children
contemplating on whether to kill them

darkness falls everywhere
immortal monsters murder here and there
impurity rises as evil disguises
the feeling of deep fear
