The Battle Of Evermore

by Robert Hamilton   Dec 31, 2011

Tell me of a time gone by
When life was but a dream
Of fantasies and fairy tales
And nothing as it seems

Sorcerers and wizards
That once did rule this land
And every creature and living beast
Were under their command

The fight of good and evil
That waged upon this earth
Where many battles won and lost
For all that they were worth

Warriors on backs of dragons
Flying through the skies
Doing battle fearlessly
With fire in their eyes

Lightning cracking splits the night
As rolling thunder tells of fright
The sky a fiery crimson red
Now calls to battle the undead

With determined hearts like none before
With shrieking cries their voices soar
One last effort to win the war
Of the greatest battle ever fought...

Called the battle of ever more
