Angels Came To Me

by Robert Hamilton   Dec 31, 2011

Angels came to me last night
While i was in a dream
I wept for what they told me
Of a future yet unseen
A vision of suffering and turmoil
And so full of evil and hate
But there was still
Some time for me
And all was not to late
To surely be spared
All the carnage and anguish
And avoid the worlds certain ill fate
I saw untold pain and suffering
There was carnage all around
No fruits can spring forth and grow
From a polluted and desolate ground
Illness, drought and famine
Now encircle the earth
As the heavens now break open
To prepare for overdue rebirth
To clean up the filth and devastation
That man has left behind
And wipe out every last bit of evidence
Of the evil and immoral human kind
An angel beckoned to me
As i then watched it plant a seed
A kind, and caring heart it said
Is all that it would need
To bring forth a wonderful future
Full of compassion, freedom, and love
With a little bit of guidance and help
From the angels in heaven above
And with a blink of my eyes
The angels vanished from the skies
And with a final word of warning....

" Preparation would be wise "
