Old friends die hard

by Aimee   Jan 8, 2012

You were there with me through thick and thin,
Almost as if you were my twin.
My second half,
Always together having a laugh.
But now those good times have all gone,
I really thought you were a don.
Seems I was wrong and they were right.
If you change then maybe things just might,
Go back the way they were before.
But if not there's the door..

First of all, i really liked the title of this poem. The content was good spiced with rhyming words that were collectedly placed.
