Deprivation

I long for you - day and night,
missing your warm embrace,
in need of your constant comfort
and your supportive feather wings.

Here it seemed as though you were stating your loved one was somewhat of an angel - implying perfection. That you couldn't live without them.

I can be my absolute self around you.
You make me feel beautiful even when
I'm laying in my mismatched pyjamas,
without a hint of make-up on my face.

I am enveloped in safety and security,
as though nothing can harm me,
and even when I fall asleep,
I'm dancing in an enchanting dream.

A sense of safety is something we all have the right to feel. When we feel it we tend to cherish it.

You understand when I'm busy,

I wish I had analysed this poem as I was reading it through. (Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. ) Anyway, I had to go back with the knowledge of the ending and write down what my first impression of each stanza had been, lol. That ending was COMPLETELY unexepected! TOTALLY cute and loveable! It's not often when I'm caught by surprise by an ending, so it just made me love it more. And I can totally agree with everything you said above. Perfect. I'd nominate this if I could - a true GEM.

You spelled pajamas wrong, which distracted me a little bit. Other than that this was very well written. I especially like the last stanza:

It's beautifully written.

I love it! I miss my bed too! I had to break up with it this morning. Good wording and a fun poem.
