A Changing Heart

by Just a girl   Jan 12, 2012

A hill away from home,
All innocence will soon be lost.

Confusing thoughts and feelings.

Two awkward shaking bodies,
Cool air rushes by; pushing us closer.
Chilled palms entertwine with emptiness.

An awkward moment- our eyes wonder elsewhere,
As a soft touch finally finds my rosey cheek.
Eyes lock in place, to just slowly close...

Her lips first met mine in mid-september.
