Socity Killed The Teen.

by Just a girl   Jan 12, 2012

Every morning's a constant hassel;
As they wait to be rescued.
"I'm just tired," excuses sad behavoir.
You see they're lying and you let them.
You all ignore their pain, but you clearly see it.
Your hateful words, and ignoring eyes-
They lift their hand and scar their heart.

Counted calories is an obsession.
"I already ate," excuses starvation.
Defined bones and weightless bodies.
"It's a trend," excuses baggy clothes,
The clothes that hide their under-sized bodies.
She is weak, he is boney; you notice.
But what do you do? NOTHING.

Every morning's a constant hassel;
Everyday you dig a grave.

Smiles mean happiness: Sadly, you're mistaken.
You see these masks, no attempt to remove them.
"I'm fine," excuses emptiness.
They reciet perfectly what you'd like to hear,
You only really ask to be polite, but you don't care.

Long pants, sweat shirts- It's summer.
"I'm just cold," excuses their scars.
You ignore the signs everyday, you still don't care.
And you claim, "No one ever sees the signs."
Well, bullshit, you see them everyday.
They push the signs in your face, hoping to be saved.
Yet everyone ignores the signs, burdened by us.

Every morning's a constant hassel;
Everyday you dig their graves.

They could have all been saved,
All they needed was someone to care.
But you were never there,
And you never could care.
"I didn't even notice," excuses you.

Every morning's a constant hassel;
Everyday your words kill,
And those you hurt are beautiful.
Yet your insides- They remain ugly,
You couldn't be burdened with them.

Every morning you are selfish,
Becomes everyday without another.

You invented suicide,
No more hassel.
