Shrouding Paroxysm

by Innocent Fairy   Jan 18, 2012

No matter what I do
you always see through,
reminding me of my flaws.

You throw your anger in my face
like I'm some kind of discrace,
it's so hard but I can't erase.

A picture of pain
as you tear me down.
A stab in the heart
as you yell all around.

I work hard,
do the best I can
but you burden me with scars.

This is why we can't talk
you never understand,
you lack the talent
of taking my hand.

I feel like a grain of sand
in an empty land.
You fill my life
with doubts and fears
like I could be nothing more.

I'll runaway someday
when I get the chance,
I won't be trapped.

I'll just do this on my own
cause no matter what I do
you always see through.

    A very powerful poem hun,

The image that you are just a grain of sand. Something so small. The way you see yourself hun but you are no such thing x

I could very much relate to this poem.
