First poem about depression

by Ole Carsten   Jan 22, 2012

Maybe I am not
The chosen one
Maybe I am wrong
Just a usual jerk

Being in love
Maybe I am wrong
Looking for hours
Maybe I am wrong

Maybe I am wrong
Soon even I
Maybe I am wrong
Hours are gone to minutes

Maybe I am wrong
Love is not granted for me
Maybe I am wrong
Life is not always fair

Maybe I am wrong
sitting in a empty room
Maybe I am wrong
Leave me alone

I really get emotional when I read depression poems, for I feel depressed a lot..

Maybe I'm wrong but I liked the wording in this :)
Repetition has never been a favorite of mine in poems but some just make it work. Good Job

When we are depressed, all we want is to be alone. It's a time of questioning our merits. Good poem.

Love is beautiful and its also painful....

There are dark times that we all go through... I find raw writes such as this are the most powerful.... Keep writing and expressing Ole...

Sounds like a build up/climax as hours become minutes and the final line-leave me alone. X
