Waiting in confusion2

by Tomiladeo Seun   Jan 24, 2012

I had stopped being confused,
Re-accepting my Saviour and his light
Allowing him to once again, be my guide,
And seeing clearly where to go
No longer unknowing of what to do
But marching forward with the banner of progress.

I had stopped being uncertain
Knowing for sure who I was and to be
Knowing fairly well the path I would have to travel
But not so afraid of them that I should not walk forward.

I have marched to flying since I left the first phase
That of the unfamous waiting in confusion
I have been flying for some time now
But young yesterdays knew something unique:
A me flying without inhibition;
And falling, plunging, skydiving into friendly enemy terrain.

I now know I didn't land but crashed
The pain now beginning to register
Coming days after the numbing euphoria
Resulting from a fall that had swindled me into believing she was a
well thought-out jump.

Now I am screeching to a halt
And have to wait once more in confusion
I desperately hope this wouldn't be a trilogy
Even if I end up not writing anything else.
True? It seems so now!
