Depression

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Jan 28, 2012

2010.

In despair loneliness is my abode
Calling for help from the shores of nature
Depression welcomes me

Tears I shed in silence
As I cautiously resort to a new leaf
Downhearted I slump into depression

Desperately seeking for affection
My heart is deprived of love
Heartbroken gloom envelopes me

Shrewdly my judgmental prowess I test
When hurt by a precious posession
Lost in thoughts my mind staggers

I shriek as I willingly succumb to pain
To and fro I wonder in this anguish battle
That visits me unannounced

A despicable visitor I abhor
Isolated I hibernate into my shell
Longing for the light of faith

Thanks for commenting. When there's life, there's hope, no matter the plight we find ourselves in..

Wow, I felt the despair and then saw a glimmer of hope, this made me think that from deep within I can survive.
