Monster in my tent

by DarkLight   Jan 28, 2012

The night was calm but noise from the rustling wind and of the bushes that surrounded my tent.
It was not ordinary,
I felt something was not right.
Tried to slow down my racing heart beats,
but like kenyans athletees it was hard to win that trophy.
I was now sweating,
I could feel that my hands were wet.
I thought of screaming for help,
I knew if things were ok ,
I will be purnished to clean all my friend's tents together with mine after camp session is over.
Fear had capture my attention,
thinking was getting even more difficult.
I thought I was losing my breath,
but the truth was nothing was making sense.
At once the wind stopped
I could now read every second of my life...
It was not becoming fun at all
I could feel that my face was covered with sweat drops.
I heard it approaching
everything now was happening quickly
I tightened my camp knife in my hand
I knew if the monster trys to make a move towards me I will make the knife disappear in its throat..
I waited.....It was approaching my tent now
could not hear anything else other than
the footstep...
It was making a rhythm
I thought I had heard the song before..but couldn't tell

It tore my tent
I had swallowed my voice ..
Tried to scream bt nothing ......
As it was about to grab me
I swang my knife toward it and caught its head
everything happened so fast... I couldn't even explain.....
the silence busted into screams.
Blood in my hands and the knife in the monsters head....
screams were sounding high.
something grabbed my back.thats when I woke up..
...sweating..

......Blood on my hands....
...
....It was just a mare dream I though
but where the hell did I get this blood from..Everyone was surrounding my desk..
It is at that moment it dawn on me what had happened
.......
I had sturbbed my l
lecturer using my pen........

I had fallen asleep in class..
..........
........
......
