Spirits Alive

by Larry Chamberlin   Feb 3, 2012

The world is divided in two:
those with the divine and those not;
religion or spirit are each
a proof of sacred in your life,
means naught if you share with groups or
you walk a solitary path;
answer is if you are alone
or there is more than what you ken.

    You know Larry, this poem reminds me of something that was said to me, or it could have been from a movie not sure lol I remember someone saying that It does not matter what you believe in, what religion you are, just as long as you believe in something.

    No disrespect to anyone who is atheist (my bro was atheist) but I could not imagine going through life without believing in something. Faith gives us hope and guidance (well for me anyways) Like I have someone on my side always
    This poem just made me think of that, Your poems seem to always bring up some of my past thoughts and always makes me ask myself questions. I love that!!!

    Powerful write!
