Mistaking Kisses

by Innocent Fairy   Feb 7, 2012

Racing through my mind,
intoxicating and violent,
striking my heart
are such cries
and there you are
not with a care
of how you make me feel.
We're destroyed
as you hurt me
in my hoping need,
thinking you would come
and rescue my heart,
instead you ignore.
I'm scared to talk about our kiss
and everything's weird around you.
Filled with awkward silence
as you don't step up
and talk yourself.
Things will never be the same
and I think you feel for a girl
that I know you'll never have.
Sorry but I won't wait,
it's clear to see
that you feel nothing for me.
