Ramblings of an uneasy mind

Is giving in the same as giving up?
Is standing up the same as raising conflict?
Is the straight and narrow hopelessly bent?

Is the action intrinsically good or bad?
Do the consequences define the morale?
Can two wrongs never make a right?
And can one really right a wrong?

Is the one who views the entire world
In white and black merely colour-blind?
An unseeing zealot to be mocked...

Can one really overthink anything?
Is there ever an ending to thought?
Why does one prefer the easy road?
And why is the easy road never best?

And why oh why,...
Can't I put my mind to rest.
