Dreaming reality

Dreams are the essence of life,
sometimes forming reality but
dreams can also be destructive

Please, please, please you pray
longing and hoping to be true
when perhaps some things...
are impossible

Some things...
not meant to be

Dreams can fulfill your desires
but it can crush them as well
or perhaps I speak from hurt
and pain

Perhaps I don't see clearly
but these tears speak freely,
once frozen and now
melted completely

Or have I focused on dreams
intertwined with future seeking

Sometimes it is best
to lay it to rest,

focus on the present
and what you should be doing
just until the time comes
when your dreams are ready
to become reality

When your dreams become
a life worth living,
dreaming reality.
