The Valentine's Day Poem

This poem is for my bf we each have a poem for the other but well this poem doesn't do justice for what i feel for m y bf so Happy Valentine's Day to ALL OF YOU! :)

We were friends once upon a time
Unknown to each other what the future might hold out for us
And all I truly want to remember now is how you asked me out that one fateful November day

How cute we were all innocent thinking," Sure why not? It's not like we are going to fall in love"
Two poets that had too much darkness and yet we tried to save the other from the sadness that we had deep inside of us
My wings that are wide open to the world all ashen and strong while his were barely new all beautifully white, totally innocent, and mine

How the many obstacles we faced hurt beyond time
The hurt that we gave to each other time and time again
When I walked away my heart and his broke yet I came back once again cause I had fallen in love again with him

Blinded in love here we stand
Proud to the world I'm his and he is mine
So here is the end to this one long story of how a boy and a girl are together and happy on Valentine's Day <3
