I am not a Normal Girl

"I guess it's not goodbye,

I guess it's not farewell,

But if I choose to stay here is something only time will tell."
This was a great opening and the wording is excellent.
"A girl can only take so much of being forgotten,

So much of being ignored,

So much of feeling like toxin."

This is so true, I have to deal with this too much on a day to day basis.

"A girl can only give,

So much of what she didn't get,

So much of what she wished to get,

So much of what she begged to get."

Sometimes no matter how much we beg to be loved and noticed it doesn't happen.

"But I am not a normal girl,

It doesn't mean I'm special,

I am just a girl in love,

Who's locked up in a kennel,

Locked away from whom she loves,

And soon to be forgotten,

But since I'm not a normal girl,

I'll forgive, and I'll forget, and I will love you to the end."

And this ended really summed it all up, this was my favorite part of your write:)

Aww.. this is a really sad poem, but I love how you expressed these emotions... I think everyone can relate to these emotions and I don't think anyone is normal, because we all are unique in our different ways.
