Fading

by tainted melody   Feb 18, 2012

The thought of what she used to be,
and what they had together.
Always sweet and truly free,
she thought it'd last forever.

Love is fading
...

The girlish glow she once had,
the boyish grin of mystery.
Always happy, never sad.
Now all that is hystory.

Youth is fading
...

She used to sing in pure delight,
think she could lift up in flight.
Now her tears fall to the ground.
and from her lips, not a sound

Smiles fading
...

This was a very unique poem. I agree that the three things here: Love,Youth, and Smiles fading was neat how you structured this poem. Nice write. :)

I loved this. How you described three different things that were fading. And I thought even though it was short it had a lot of emotion. Nice work! :)
