Little Lost Girl

by BrokenSoul LostHeart   Feb 19, 2012

She was just a little girl
Who was afraid of the dark
Who grew into a teen
With a cold broken heart

She fell for a boy
Who would never love her back
He already made his choice
And there was no turning back

She was friends with a girl
Who couldn't keep her mouth shut
She shared all her secrets
Which I guess was enough

Her mom died giving birth
And her dad blames her for it all
He hits her everyday
And just watches her fall

Her best friend died
With a couple pills and a knife
But she got an idea
From him taking his life

So she slit her wrist
And out poured red
Because, she was a victim to the lies
And the gossip she read

When that didn't work
She took her dad's belt
Hung herself in the closet
Got rid of what she felt

But her dad still needed a punching bag
So he took her down from the noose
He hit her a few more times
And showed her the meaning of abuse

Her plans weren't working well, you see
So she took out a gun and put it to her head
She put her finger on the trigger
And ended up dead

She was just a little girl
Who prayed for her death
And turned into a teen
Who took her last breath

Pain is part of life. You have to face it somewhere sometime. When we close off to life we inevitably create pain for ourselves.

    Keep Writing.
