This is shrouded with real poetic concept, one has to keep reading it on and on to assimilate. The creature of afternoon seem to me to be, someone, peoples or a philosopher or someone of sort. I agree with Everlasting, been careful before talking. I think the creature is talking in parables for people to listen. He knows when to say what and where, very cautious. Making his words understood and what he said can make someone happy or settle the bone of contention between people. Written articulately, i like your concept, short but the impact is strong.
