If Time Stood Still (Alliteration)

by Fluffy Cotton   Feb 25, 2012

If someone stopped the second hand and stilled the sands of time
I'd dine with daffy duck and change a dollar to a dime
I'd build a bridge to Belgium and eat brunch beside the beach
I'd plant a patch of posies and then pluck a perfect peach
I'd clone a cart of caribou to carry me to Queens
I'd buy a bunch of barbeque and bake a bunch of beans
I'd sit inside a submarine and sail to Santa Fe
I'd try on tons of turtlenecks to match my new toupee
I'd fly a flock of fairies for the freedom just to fly
I'd eat an enchilada and enjoy a pizza pie
I'd ask an angry astronaut about his ABC's
I'd navigate the Nile and knock the pharaoh to his knees
I'd grow a gorgeous garden of gardenias, green and grand
I'd help a hungry homeless man, who lacks a helping hand
I'd ask the Irish infidels to join the I.R.A.
And then I'd set time free and let it take it all away
