Lethal after Midnight

by Maple Tree   Mar 1, 2012

Toxic words from venom
tongues regenerate
the vile, evil, dark
side of me.

It's a dreary parade
after midnight
dancing side by side
with skeletons.

I'm an organic disease
within my own chaotic mind
drowning and drenched
in a dirty cesspool of nightmares....

Letah after midnight - I love the title of the poem!!!

This kinda reminds me of the movie Gremlins when they change after midnight if they are fed etc. Kinda freaky

    Interesting piece,
First of all, I love the word choice.
And second the puzzling sensation that created in my mind. My first thoughts were gossips and how they be represented in dreams. I don't know why. But well written piece.
