Four Seasons

by Yakari Gabriel   Mar 5, 2012

If I were to describe
the two of them,
I'd say they are
like a year

one is spring
and winter
and the other,
is autumn and summer

..both hold
beauty,
but different types.

with them,
I go from vibrant
to dim,from shy
to bold,and
from romantic
to cold.

voices repeat that
instability is
hard-

but to me,
it seems quite softer
than a season-less year.

So much has already been said but i must say....beautiful. This is why i fell in love with poetry. Just seeing a well penned piece with beautiful words and straight forward to the point and clear emotions. Wonderful

I do love how the poem explains how you feel in the year, how everything changes (like tara said). I feel as if you made it so subtle, how it affects with our emotions, that i almost overlooked it. It feels very unique because of it and i wish more people would use this subtle taste in their poems instead of spraying how they feel. It requires one to think. Very well done!

I like how you relate it to relationships personally... For my own personal reasons. 5/5

    OH :O
Yaki, I am more than speechless, This is heartbreaking,
I am at a loss of what to say, when someone can pen a poem that feels so real and so strong that the tears flow from my eyes easier than the ink from my pen, and I cannot comprehend in a minute or this comment how this made me feel,
for it seems to me that throughout the year you change, you visit many emotions, states of mind that make you act in a different way
and that's true to most of us but the way you ended this was breathtaking, and so sad, I felt you wanted the year to have non seasons so you never had to change but at the same time knew that that isn't the way to be.

I don't know, I am just at a loss on how else to say that I am speechless without actually being speechless and now I don't even make sense

    Awesomeness, Just amazing!
